Commercial Return – the last stop before the end of 2024
BAI Europa’s Commercial Return event took place on 5-6 September at the Vila Galé Évora hotel. This year’s event focused on the Lobito Corridor, a major infrastructure initiative backed by the USA, the European Union, and the governments of Angola, DR Congo, and Zambia. With EUR 1,000,000 invested in modernising the railway and infrastructure, the project is expected to strengthen exports and create new business opportunities in the region.
The Lobito Corridor, which starts in the port of Lobito and the city of Benguela, stretches through Angola to the mineral-rich regions in neighbouring countries. This corridor aligns with BAI Europa’s progress from 2021 to the present and outlines the path ahead as we approach the final station by the end of this year.
