The minimum deposit required for opening a Minors Account is EUR or USD 50. You must guarantee the initial deposit in order to use your account.
Opening an account is completely free. A monthly maintenance fee of €5.20 applies. This fee is waived if you subscribe to and maintain one of our Term Deposits.
You may close your BAI Europa account at any time, free of charge, by:
- Visiting one of our branches, speaking to your account manager and submitting the account closure form.
Provided there are no impediments, the bank will close the account within a maximum period of one month.
No. While BAI Europa and BAI Angola belong to the same banking group, the accounts are completely separate and do not offer shared access.
Once the child reaches the age of majority, they must regularise the account and update their details. They will be required to present all documents necessary for account opening as outlined in the "Account Opening Requirements – Individuals" document.
