BAI voted Best Investment Bank in Angola
BAI - Banco Angolano de Investimentos SA was honoured as the Best Investment Bank in Angola in 2022, in a distinction that included financial institutions from various regions of the world.
BAI's distinction, made this month in New York by the prestigious American magazine specialising in finance, Global Finance, is part of the 23rd annual edition of the ranking of the world's best investment banks.
The results were based on analyses by Global Finance editors and input from industry experts. A proprietary algorithm was used to score and select the winners, and deals announced or completed in 2021 were also taken into account.
Market share, the number and size of businesses, the distribution network, and efforts to cope with market conditions were some of the indicators analysed.
For BAI's CEO, Luís Lélis, this distinction "is the result of the Bank's focus on business sustainability, with a view to safeguarding its mission and vision."
