The Doing Business Angola Conference took place on 26 September at the Ritz Hotel in Lisbon. The event was organised in partnership with the Media Nove Group, Jornal Económico, and Forbes África Lusófona, and brought together some of the most prominent figures from the Angolan and Portuguese business communities.
The conference focused on key topics related to Angola’s economic landscape. In the afternoon of the conference, one of the panels on the programme discussed the sectors that boost and support development in Angola, with the intervention of the Chairman of the Executive Committee of BAI and the Board of Directors of BAI Europa, Luís Lélis. At the end of this panel, our CEO, Omar Guerra, was also invited to take to the stage and share his thoughts on how BAI Europa has helped bridge the business gap between Portugal and Angola.
Also present at the conference were our Director of the Commercial and Correspondent Banking Department, André Morgado, as well as our managers João Costa, Nuno Ferreira, Sérgio Couto, and Márcio Torres.
