World Mental Health Day will be observed on 10 October. On this day, MindAlliance Portugal — of which BAI Europa is a founding member — will host "HR Talks Mental Health," in partnership with 42 Lisboa and BCG Portugal. This event will bring together HR professionals from various companies for an open and transparent discussion.
Mental health is increasingly recognised as a strategic priority for organisations. To open the event, Miguel Fontes, Secretary of State for Labour, will share how his office is contributing to mental health in the workplace.
Following this, Sara da Fonseca (HR Director at Santander Portugal), Susana Santos (People Team – Happiness & Engagement at Critical Software), and Joana Queiroz Ribeiro (People and Organisation Director at Fidelidade) will present the practices their companies are adopting, the results they have achieved, and the ongoing challenges.
Pedro Pereira, Managing Partner at BCG Portugal, will also share insights from a study on the parity between mental and physical health.
