Background, History, Banking/BAI Experience
Pedro Miguel Alão Cabrita began his professional career at António Borges & Associados, SROC in 1996 and remained there until 2004. He taught Financial Accounting I and II in Management, Accounting, Taxation and Auditing, and Economics courses at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologia from 2000 to 2010. He also served as a trainer at Overgest/ISCTE between 2000 and 2007.
Since September 2009, he has worked as a trainer for various organizations such as Global Estratégias, Companhia Própria, and EY. He was a lecturer in the Executive Master’s program in Advanced Accounting and Taxation at ISCTE Business School – INDEG from June 2010 to April 2011.
He is co-author of the books Mais e Menos Valias – Tributação e Reinvestimento (Capital Gains and Losses – Taxation and Reinvestment), 2003, Lisbon, Áreas, 3rd edition, and Lançamentos Contabilísticos de A a Z (Accounting Entries from A to Z), 2001, Lisbon, Verlag Dashöfer.
He has been a Chartered Accountant since 2005 and has served as sole auditor and member of the audit committee of several companies since then, including VAA – Vista Alegre SGPS and Banco BAI Europa.
