Make your banking operations easier

BAI Europa offers its Clients the MB WAY service, allowing them to carry out essential banking operations directly from their mobile phone.

To access this service, you need to have a BAI Europa debit card. For more information about this product, please refer to the current Price List.

What features do we offer?

check In-App or ATM Enrollment – Enroll in MB WAY and link your BAI Europa debit card to your mobile number through the app or an ATM
check Instant Transfers – Send (limit of €2,000 per transaction) and receive (limit of €15,000 per month) money instantly between contacts, request money or split a bill, and Be Supportive, with direct donations to institutions
check Payments with MB WAY via NFC (contactless technology, limit of €1,000 per transaction, with a daily limit of €10,000), QR Code*, or mobile phone number
check MB WAY Withdrawal – Withdraw cash from ATMs without a card, using a code generated in the MB WAY app*
check Authorized Payments – Recurring payments previously authorized (subscription services or monthly fees)*
check Use Multibanco – Pay for services, top-ups, transfers, and other operations available in the app*
check MB NET Cards – A service that allows you to generate virtual cards for a single or multiple purchases, or for recurring payments

*The limit corresponds to the limit applicable to the debit card.

Download the app

Download the MB WAY app from the Play Store, App Store, or AppGallery.

Set an MB WAY PIN

Open the app and select "Don’t have MB WAY yet?".

Then, enter your mobile phone number, your Multibanco card details, and set a 6-digit MB WAY PIN.

MB WAY App Activation

Enter the activation code you will receive via SMS and your email address.

Next, check your email, verify the code you received, and enter it into the MB WAY app.

Your app will then be active and ready to use!

Go to a Multibanco ATM

Go to a Multibanco ATM, insert your bank card, and select the "MB WAY" option on the screen.

Set an MB WAY PIN

Enter your mobile phone number (even if it is already registered with the bank) and set a 6-digit MB WAY PIN – personal and non-transferable.

Then, confirm the operation and take your card.

Enter your details in the MB WAY app.

Download and open the MB WAY app. Enter your mobile phone number and the PIN you set at the ATM.

MB WAY App Activation

Enter the activation code you will receive via SMS.

After that, your MB WAY app will be active and ready to use!

Are there any costs associated with the service?

No, the MB WAY service at BAI Europa has no costs such as top-ups or subscription fees.
